There are three monthly plans. A starter site is £499 setup and £99 a month. A full service-business site with 20 to 30 pages and ongoing SEO is £1,495 setup and £449 a month. Businesses covering five towns or more go on the £2,495 plan at £649 a month. Every plan includes hosting and care, runs on a 12-month minimum, and is agreed in writing before work starts. Most projects go live in 2 to 4 weeks. Discovery, architecture, build, optimisation, launch. If you need it faster, say so at the start and I'll tell you whether it's doable.

For a brochure or service-business site, Astro is the better choice in almost every case. It ships zero JavaScript by default, so pages are much lighter and load faster. No plugin bloat. No monthly security patches. No theme that quietly breaks when WordPress pushes an update. The catch: you can't log in to a visual builder and edit pages like you would in Elementor or Divi. If that's important to you, stick with WordPress. If you'd rather have a site that ranks and stays out of your way, go with Astro.

Core Web Vitals are three metrics Google uses to score how a page feels to use. Largest Contentful Paint is how fast the main content shows up. Interaction to Next Paint is how fast the page reacts when you click. Cumulative Layout Shift is whether things jump around as the page loads. Fail them and you hand an edge to competitors whose sites pass. Most WordPress sites I audit fail at least two.

Yes. Every site is built to pass Core Web Vitals and ships with on-page SEO, structured data, and the technical foundations Google looks for. Expect real ranking movement around months three to four, though nobody can promise a date. How fast you'll see results depends on where you're starting from and how competitive your patch is.

A few quick signals. Run your site through PageSpeed Insights. If you're scoring below 70 on mobile, you have a problem. Check Google Search Console for Page Experience issues. If you're getting traffic but no enquiries, your conversion paths are likely broken. If you're getting neither, the issue is usually older: thin content, no schema, slow hosting, or no local SEO foundations. GEO is Generative Engine Optimisation. It's the work of structuring your site so it's easier for AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews to find and cite your business when someone asks for a recommendation. More customers are asking these tools 'best plumber in Hackney' or 'physio near Sevenoaks' instead of typing into Google. If your site isn't structured to be quoted, those tools have little reason to mention you.

SEO is ranking on Google's traditional search results. AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) is being picked as the spoken answer when someone asks Siri or Alexa. GEO is being cited inside AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity. They overlap, but the structural requirements are different. A site optimised only for SEO will often miss AEO and GEO completely.

Depends what you're paying for. A bigger agency gives you process, account managers and a polished pitch deck. A solo operator gives you direct access to whoever's doing the work, faster turnaround, and usually a smaller bill because you're not funding an office, a sales team, or three layers of project management. For most local service businesses, the solo route works better. For a 200-page enterprise site, it doesn't.

A few things have to be in place. Your site needs clean, semantic HTML so the AI can parse it. You need structured data so it knows what your business does and where. You need clear, factual content that directly answers the questions people are asking. And you need third-party mentions (directories, reviews, local press) so the AI has multiple sources confirming what you do. The work is less about keywords and more about being the obvious answer.
