Plumber website design delivered remotely, anywhere in the UK. A plumbing site has to win two very different customers — the one with a flooded kitchen right now and the one planning a boiler swap for spring. We build for both, live in 2–4 weeks. It starts with our free SEO audit — the Visibility Snapshot.
A plumber's website should convert two opposite customers: the emergency caller, who needs a phone number they can tap within seconds of landing, and the planned buyer researching a boiler swap or bathroom, who needs proof, process, and a quote form. That takes click-to-call on every page, one page per service, proper pages for each town covered, Gas Safe registration visible at the point of decision, and load speeds that survive a bad mobile connection. Design is the easy part — the structure is what books the jobs.
The spec
The anatomy of a plumber site that converts.
Six decisions that separate a site that books callouts from a brochure with a phone number on the contact page.
Built for the 9pm emergency
A flooded kitchen is found on a phone and decided in two minutes. Click-to-call on every page, response time stated, no forms in the way. The customer taps once and you're talking — while the competitor's template site is still loading its slider.
Two conversion paths, one site
A burst pipe is a panic buy; a new bathroom or boiler swap is researched for weeks. The same site has to serve both — urgent pages push the phone number, planned pages carry the proof, the process, and the quote form.
A page for every job you price
Boiler repair, blocked drains, leak detection, bathroom installation, powerflush, landlord certificates — each is its own search. One 'plumbing services' page can't rank for any of them; a page per service can, and each one converts better because it answers exactly what was asked.
Area pages for the patch you cover
'Plumber in [town]' beats 'plumber' every time for someone in that town. Proper pages for the 5–10 areas you actually serve — written individually, not a template with the town name swapped — are what put you in front of local searches.
Gas Safe front and centre
Your registration number on every page, insurance quoted in pounds, boiler brand accreditations shown, years on the tools stated. The strongest trust signals in plumbing are the ones most sites bury on an about page.
Reviews next to the button
Three specific reviews — first name, area, the job — placed beside the call CTA, not exiled to a reviews page nobody visits. 'Fixed our boiler same day, price as quoted' is the last nudge a comparing customer needs.
From sign-off to live
About four weeks, start to finish.
Week 1
Audit and architecture
We review your current site, your Google Business Profile, your competitors, and the real plumbing searches in your area. You get a written summary of what's costing you callouts and the page plan for the new build.
Weeks 2–3
Build and content
Fast, properly structured pages on Astro: your services, your areas, Gas Safe and trust signals, click-to-call, schema markup, conversion tracking. Copy written for how plumbing customers search — with photos of your real work and your real van.
Week 4
Launch and indexing
Site live, sitemap submitted, old URLs redirected so rankings you've already earned carry over. Then it's watched for 60 days, and anything Google flags gets fixed.
Pricing
Plumber website costs, quoted upfront.
Priced like you'd price a bathroom: a written figure before work starts, and no extras invented halfway through.
Digital Launchpad
£499 setup
then £99/month
The starter rebuild: a fast, properly built Astro site with hosting handled and your Google Business Profile kept in sync. For plumbers whose current site is quietly losing callouts.
Growth Engine
£1,495 setup
then £449/month
The full build: 20–30 service and area pages built around real plumbing searches, plus ongoing SEO so the new site gets found. Where most established firms start.
Dominance Suite
£2,495 setup
then £649/month
For plumbing firms covering a region: five towns or service areas built as one interlinked system, with content and social handled monthly.
The build is delivered remotely and works the same for any UK plumbing firm. Working London or the Home Counties? The local page goes borough by borough.
Our packaged rebuild is £499 setup plus £99 a month, covering the build, hosting, and a managed Google Business Profile. The full architecture — 20 to 30 service and area pages with ongoing SEO — is £1,495 setup plus £449 a month. Both are quoted upfront with nothing hidden; the only outside cost is your domain at £10–£15 a year.
How long does the build take?
2–4 weeks from sign-off to launch. The build itself is rarely the bottleneck — collecting your service list, coverage areas, Gas Safe details, and a few photos of real jobs is. Have those ready and the shorter end is realistic.
Will a new site get me into the map pack?
It moves several of the signals at once — speed, structure, service pages, local relevance — and most plumbers see meaningful map pack movement within 60–90 days of a proper relaunch. The website is one of roughly fifteen local ranking signals, though. The rest — profile management, reviews, citations, content — is the SEO side, covered on our SEO for plumbers page and priced separately, month to month.
Do I own the site?
Yes — domain, content, code, everything. No platform fee, no lock-in. The monthly fee covers hosting, upkeep, and profile management, and if you ever leave, the site goes with you. That's the opposite of the subscription builders where cancelling deletes your website.
Do you build for plumbers outside London?
Yes — the build is delivered remotely and works the same for a plumber in Leeds as one in Lambeth. We're London-based; if you work across London or the Home Counties, the plumber website design for London and the Home Counties page covers the local detail, borough by borough.
What does the free audit cover?
Our free SEO audit — the Visibility Snapshot — is a straight verdict on your current site: real load speed on a phone, how hard it is to call you mid-emergency, which service and area pages are missing, how your Google Business Profile compares to competing plumbers, and whether a rebuild is worth it. Written report within 24 hours, no call required.
How to start
Find out if your site is losing you callouts. Free.
The Snapshot is a manual review, not an automated scan. We look at your site the way a customer with a leak does — on a phone, in a hurry, comparing three plumbers — and tell you exactly where the jobs go instead. Written report within 24 hours.

"I had a site for my 1 man company for years that never really gained much traction so I decided to bring it up to date. Rank Local rebuilt the site and it looks so much better — modern and easier to navigate. I've already been contacted by people from the site so whatever they did, they did it right. Thanks again Dan."
