Get found on Google, Maps and AI answers
Local SEO is the work that gets your business shown when someone nearby searches for what you do. It covers your website, your Google Business Profile, and the reviews and listings around them.
AEO and GEO apply the same idea to AI tools. When someone asks ChatGPT, Siri or Google's AI Overview who to call, those tools lean on what they can read about you. We make sure that information is clear, accurate and consistent. Nobody can make an AI tool recommend a business, and we don't claim to.

Once it's live, website care covers hosting and security updates. It comes with every monthly plan, or can be arranged on its own when we quote your build.

You send the project form or call. I reply within 24 hours, usually same day, and we go through what you need by phone or email.

You get a fixed quote
A written quote and plan. Website projects are a fixed price, half up front and half before launch. Nothing starts until you sign off the plan.

We build, you approve
I design and build the site and send pages for you to check. Nothing goes live until you have approved it.

Launch, then a review
The site goes live and we look at how it is doing together 60 days later. Monthly search work, if you want it, starts from there.
What I'll need from you
A good site needs your input. Most of this happens in the first week.

RankLocal Agency is a local SEO and web design agency in West Drayton, West London, founded and run by Daniel Gardner. We build websites and handle local SEO, Google Business Profile management, AEO and GEO for trades and local businesses across London and the Home Counties.
I came to this from the transport industry, where I taught myself SEO and web development to fix my own company's website. I started RankLocal after rebuilding sites for friends who had paid a lot for websites that didn't work for them.

What people ask before getting in touch
How much does a website or local SEO cost?
Website-only projects are quoted per project at a fixed price, paid half up front and half before launch. Monthly local SEO plans run from £499 setup and £99 a month up to £2,495 setup and £649 a month. The pricing page sets out what each plan includes.
How long does a new website take?
Most small-business sites are live within about four weeks of the go-ahead, once I have your content, photos and access. Larger sites with lots of service and area pages take longer. Search work is slower than the build: expect the first changes within a couple of months and steadier movement from around months three to four. Nobody can promise you a position on Google, and I won't.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
Monthly plans have a 12-month minimum term, then run month to month with 30 days' written notice. Hosting and website care are included in every monthly plan. A website build on its own is a one-off project with no ongoing commitment unless you choose website care.
Can you take over a website someone else built?
Yes, and it's one of the most common requests. I start by checking what you have: who controls the domain, the hosting and your Google accounts, and whether the site is worth keeping. Then you get a plain recommendation to fix it or rebuild it, with a fixed price either way.
Can you help if my Google Business Profile is suspended?
Yes. Suspension help is a separate one-off job: I work out the likely cause, prepare the reinstatement appeal and follow it up until Google responds. Don't post to the profile or edit it while it's suspended, as that can make things worse.
What is the free Visibility Snapshot?
It's our free SEO audit. Using public data, I check four things: your website's speed, indexing, metadata and mobile layout; your Google Business Profile; where you rank today for your three main searches, with Google and Maps reported separately; and whether ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews mention you. You get one written document by email within one working day, with the one thing I'd fix first. It covers where you stand now, so backlink audits, ranking history and competitor reports aren't part of it. There's no sales call.
Which areas do you cover?
All 32 London boroughs and the Home Counties: Surrey, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent and Berkshire. We're based in West Drayton, and several of the projects in our portfolio are in Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. Website work also runs UK-wide.
Who owns the website once it's built?
You do. Once the final payment is made, the design and code are yours. While you're on a monthly plan, hosting and security updates are included. If you're not, they're your responsibility unless you have a website care agreement with us.
