Investment Tiers

Invest in Market Authority.

Three tiers, month-to-month contracts, no hidden costs. Pick where you want to start — you can move up (or down) whenever it makes sense.

Tier 01

Digital Launchpad

The right place to start

£ 499 setup
£ 99 /month

"If your website's been quietly letting you down — slow, outdated, invisible on Google — this is where we start. Nothing flashy. Just a solid, fast, properly built foundation so you stop losing customers before they've even seen what you do."

  • Astro-6 framework — the kind of speed that doesn't make people bounce before your page loads
  • Google Business Profile audited and kept in sync, because wrong opening hours cost more leads than most owners realise
  • Reliable global hosting — it just works, and you stop thinking about it
  • Automated indexing so Google sees the real, current version of your business, not something from two years ago

Tier 02

Growth Engine

Where the real shift happens

£ 1,495 setup
£ 449 /month

"For businesses that have been at it a few years, are doing decent work, but are tired of watching weaker competitors outrank them because someone, somewhere, played the SEO game better."

  • 20–30 page Velocity Matrix built around the searches your customers are actually typing
  • The Local Trinity — Google, voice search, and AI tools. You show up in all three
  • Managed Google Business Profile — photos and review responses handled every month
  • Competitive intelligence — where rivals are cutting corners and where the gap is for you
  • Algorithm shielding so a Google update in March doesn't undo work paid for in January
  • Conversion mapping — because traffic you can't convert is just a more expensive form of being ignored

Tier 03

Dominance Suite

For the whole region

£ 2,495 setup
£ 649 /month

"For businesses that aren't content owning one town. You've outgrown the village green and you're ready to be the obvious choice across the whole region — without the overhead of opening five offices."

  • Targeted expansion across five towns or service areas, working as one system rather than five sites fighting each other
  • Regional domain authority — interlinked hubs that share trust, so the strength of one location lifts all of them
  • Fully managed Google Business Profile — posts, photos, Q&A, review responses, handled properly every month
  • Social content handled — two posts a week across your channels, written and scheduled
  • Monthly Kill List tracking exactly where rivals are gaining or slipping, so we adjust before the trend bites
  • Enterprise-grade architecture and full-stack authority engine — content, technical signals, the bits nobody wants to think about

Frequently asked questions

Things people ask before they sign up

How long until I actually see results?
Depends where you're starting from, really. If your site's in rough shape, the early wins come fast — Tier 01 clients usually see indexing pick up and their Google Business Profile start performing within the first month or so. That's because most of that early work is technical, and Google's quick to reward it. Tier 02 and 03 take longer to show their hand. You'll notice the first proper movement around the two to three month mark, real change by month four or five, and the full effect of it all by the time you're nine or twelve months in. It's a bit like compound interest — you watch it doing nothing for a while, and then one day the phone's ringing more and you can't quite pin down when that shifted. If someone tells you they'll get you to page one in three weeks, just walk.
Am I locked into a long contract?
No. It's month to month, with a three-month minimum to start. The minimum's there because the first month is almost entirely setup. Judging us after thirty days would be like reviewing a restaurant while they're still unpacking the chairs. After those three months you can leave whenever, with 30 days' notice. No exit fees, no awkward retention call, no clauses we'll wave in your face.
What happens if I decide to leave?
You keep the website. You paid for it, it's yours — that's never been up for debate. What stops is the ongoing side of things: the monitoring, the GBP work, the content, the social posts, the algorithm tracking. We'll help you shift the hosting over to wherever you want it, hand over the keys, and your site keeps running. It just stops actively improving from that day on. For what it's worth, most people who leave do so because they've outgrown us. Means we did the job properly.
Why is your pricing lower than some agencies I've looked at?
Because we haven't padded it. A lot of agency pricing at the higher end isn't paying for better work — it's paying for account managers, sales teams, and offices in cities you'll never set foot in. None of that helps your rankings. We've kept things lean so more of what you pay actually ends up in the work that moves the needle.
Why not just hire a freelancer for half the price?
You can. And for some businesses, honestly, that's the right move. The difference shows up in the quiet moments. Something breaks at 11pm on a Sunday. Google pushes an update and your rankings start to slide. Your freelancer goes off the grid for three weeks — holiday, illness, who knows. With us, there's a system behind the work. Monitoring, processes, continuity. You're really paying for the fact that things don't go quiet when you need them most.
I've been burned by an SEO agency before. Why would this be different?
We hear this all the time. Honestly, it's fair. Most of the agencies that leave a bad taste do one of three things: lock you into a year, hide what they're actually doing each month, or promise rankings nobody can deliver. We do the opposite. Rolling contracts. Plain-English reports that show what we did and why. And if you ever ask us to guarantee page one, we'll tell you straight — nobody can, and the ones who claim they can are setting you up for disappointment. We'd rather earn the second chance than talk you into one.
Do you work with my industry?
Probably — but ask anyway. We do well with local service businesses: trades, clinics, consultancies, professional services, regional retailers. Anywhere local search actually decides who gets the next call. What we don't take on right now is the heavily regulated stuff — legal, medical, financial advice. Not because we don't want to, but because the compliance side is its own specialism. We'd rather point you to someone who lives in that world than half-do it and create problems we can't fix.
Why Astro-6 instead of WordPress?
WordPress isn't a bad platform. Plenty of brilliant sites run on it. It's just slow out of the box, leans heavily on plugins, and needs constant maintenance to stay secure. Astro-6 gives you a faster site that doesn't need patching every other week, doesn't break when an update drops, and doesn't get hacked because somebody forgot about a plugin three years ago. The trade-off is that it's less flexible if you want to log in and tinker daily — but that's what we're here for. You shouldn't be spending your evenings inside your own website.
Can I upgrade or downgrade between tiers?
Yes, both ways, no drama. Upgrades happen whenever you're ready. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing month — cleaner than trying to split a month into fractions nobody enjoys calculating. Most people start at Tier 02 and either settle in there or grow into Tier 03 when they're ready to expand. Nobody's stuck where they started.
Do the setup fees include everything, or are there hidden costs?
What you see is what you pay. The setup fee covers everything we list for that tier — no surprise invoices, no 'oh, and you'll also need…' three weeks in. The only two things sitting outside it are your domain (£10–£15 a year, paid to whoever you register it with, not us) and any premium stock or custom photography you specifically ask for. Both quoted upfront before anything gets spent.
What do I actually need to give you to get started?
Honestly? Less than you'd think. Access to your existing Google Business Profile, your domain, and a proper sit-down about your business — who you serve, what makes you different, what you'd want more of if you could click your fingers. After the kick-off call, you're mostly off the hook. The first couple of weeks are us doing the heavy lifting. You'll hear from us with the odd question, but we're not the kind of agency that drowns you in admin and then charges you for the privilege.

"Highly recommend RankLocal. "I had a site for my 1 man company for years that never really gained much traction so I decided to bring it up to date. Rank Local rebuilt the site and it looks so much better — modern and easier to navigate. I've already been contacted by people from the site so whatever they did, they did it right. Thanks again Dan."
